Calum Scott rose to fame after participating in the ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent in April 2015 and singing his cover of Robyn's smash song "Dancing on My Own." He released his rendition as a single the year after finishing sixth in the competition; it reached potential number two on the UK Singles Chart and became the best-selling track in Britain for the summer of 2016. Scott played the drums and subsequently was pushed to sing by his sister. He was employed in human resources before he became famous.
