Who is Saweetie: American rapper Saweetie was born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper. Her debut single “Icy Grl” and debut extended play, High Maintenance, were both released in 2018. Her second EP, Icy, was released in March 2019 and spawned the top-40 single “My Type”. Several singles from the album, including “Tap In” and “Best Friend” (featuring Doja Cat), charted on Billboard’s Hot 100. She was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2021, including Best New Artist.
