All about Black Eyed Peas
Who are Black Eyed Peas: Rappers Will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo and singer J. Rey Soul comprised the band Black Eyed Peas. They rose to fame with their third album, Elephunk, in 2003. The single “Where Is the Love?” from Elephunk, which topped the charts in 13 countries and remained at the top for seven weeks in the United Kingdom, was their first major hit. It became Britain’s best-selling single of 2003. Their fourth album, Monkey Business, was a greater success, with a 3* Platinum certification in the US. It was the group’s singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling” that topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 26 consecutive weeks in 2009, making them one of only 11 artists to hold both spots at the same time.
