Early Start
- Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn was born in Atlanta, Georgia where attended Columbia High School.
- “The Future” was Future’s stage name while he was a member of the musical collective The Dungeon Family.
- Mixtapes such as 1000, Dirty Sprite, and True Story were released by Future between 2010 and 2011.
Career Journey
- 2011: Future inked a recoding label recording contract with Epic Records in September
- 2011: Streetz Calling was the title of his mixtape.
- 2012: The release of his debut studio album, Astronaut Status came out. Pusha T released “Pain” with Future, the first single off My Name Is My Name
- 2013, Future released the certified platinum compilation mixtape F.B.G., which featured the artists who signed to his Freebandz label: Young Scooter, Slice9, Casino, Mexico Rann and Maceo.
- 2015: He collaborated with Canadian rapper Drake on What a Time to Be Alive where it topped the Billboard 200, Billboard R&B Charts, and Billboard Hot Rap Songs, marking his first time to score two number one albums in a year, in 11 years, since Jay Z back in 2004.
- 2017: His self-titled fifth studio album was released in February.
- 2018: Wrld On Drugs, a collaborative mixtape with fellow American rapper Juice Wrld came out to the public.
- 2019: Future released his seventh studio album, Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd. where it was comprised of 20 songs and a film titled The Wizrd promoted it.
- 2020: The songs “Life Is Good” and “Desires”, which were both in collaborations with Drake was launched. His eighth studio album, Life Is Good was released in April of this year. A collaborative studio album with Lil Uzi Vert entitled Pluto x Baby Pluto, was his second project of that year where it ranked number two on the US Billboard 200.
