Non-Woke Banks

List Of Non-Woke Banks

The banking industry has been historically non-woke, meaning they have not been aware of or concerned about important social justice issues. This has been especially true for issues relating to racial and ethnic diversity. Banks have been known to discriminate against minorities, whether it be through redlining or lending practices. They have also been slow to respond to the needs of minority communities.

There are some of known reasons for why the banking industry has been historically non-woke. One reason is that the industry is very risk-averse. They are more likely to lend to people and businesses that they feel are a safe bet, and minorities have often been seen as a higher risk. Another reason is that the industry is very slow to change. They are often reluctant to change their practices, even in the face of criticism. This is because banks are regulated by the government, and any changes must be approved by the government. Despite the banking industry’s history of being non-woke, there have been some recent signs of change. Banks have been increasing their lending to minority-owned businesses. They have also been hiring more diverse employees, and increasing their outreach to minority communities. While these changes are a step in the right direction, the banking industry still has a long way to go in terms of being truly woke.

  1. This article is full of it, Look up the ESG’s list of Banks and find out what ESG mean! They are totally WOKE!

  2. George is absolutely right…. This list is totally false and biased, not addressing the issue in any form or fashion, and tries to paint the banks as ‘doing good’ by lending to minority-owned businesses, which has zero to do with being woke…. likely generated by a PR firm for the large banks….

  3. What a pathetic and racist article this is, about these banks being not woke, etc…. Banks need to stick to business decisions only, instead of woke & broke type decisions. B of A has actually promoted training that say’s all whites are racist and that its impossible for blacks to be racist, etc etc……
