High Hopes
Length: 3:10
Release: 2018
Opening Lyrics:
Shooting for the stars when I couldn’t make a killing
Didn’t have a dime but I always had a vision
Always had high, high hopes
Had to have high, high hopes for a living
Didn’t know how but I always had a feeling
I was gonna be that one in a million
Always had high, high hopes
Fulfill the prophecy
Be something greater
Go make a legacy
Manifest destiny
Back in the days
We wanted everything, wanted everything
Mama said
Burn your biographies
Rewrite your history
Light up your wildest dreams
Museum victories, everyday
We wanted everything, wanted everything
I Write Sins Not Tragedies
Length: 3:05
Release: 2005
Opening Lyrics:
As I’m pacing the pews in a church corridor
And I can’t help but to hear
No, I can’t help but to hear an exchanging of words
What a beautiful wedding”, says a bridesmaid to a waiter
“And, yes, but what a shame
What a shame the poor groom’s bride is a whore”
“Haven’t you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?”
No, it’s much better to face these kinds of things
With a sense of poise and rationality
“Haven’t you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?”
No, it’s much better to face these kinds of things
ME! (feat. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco)
Length: 3:13
Release: 2019
Opening Lyrics:
I know I never think before I jump
And you’re the kind of guy the ladies want
(And there’s a lot of cool chicks out there)
I know that I went psycho on the phone
I never leave well enough alone
And trouble’s gonna follow where I go
(And there’s a lot of cool chicks out there)
Like a rainbow with all of the colors
Baby doll, when it comes to a lover
I promise that you’ll never find another like
Death of a Bachelor
Length: 3:23
Release: 2016
Opening Lyrics:
I see the shadows on my face
People have told me I don’t look the same
Maybe I lost weight
I’m playing hooky with the best of the best
Put my heart on my chest so that you can see it, too
I’m walking the long road, watching the sky fall
The lace in your dress tingles my neck, how do I live?
Oh oh
Letting the water fall
The death of a bachelor
Oh oh
Seems so fitting for
Happily ever after (woo)
How could I ask for more?
A lifetime of laughter
At the expense of the death of a bachelor
Hey Look Ma, I Made It
Length: 2:49
Release: 2018
Opening Lyrics:
And tonight is my appraisal
‘Cause I’m a hooker sellin’ songs
And my pimp’s a record label
This world is full off demons
Stocks and bonds and bible traders
So I do the deed, get up and leave
A climber and a sadist, yeah
Ain’t you ready for the latest?
In the garden of evil
I’m gonna be the greatest
In a golden cathedral
I’ll be praying for the faithless
And if you lose, boo-hoo
