1. Your Honor : 10 December
Your Honor, starring Bryan Cranston, is a potential American drama series based on the Israeli serial Kvodo. On 6 December 2020, it debuted on Showtime. After first being ordered like a miniseries, the show was renewed for a full season in August 2021, with the second season planned to debut on 15 January 2023. It was announced in July 2022 it would be the final one.
2. Bump (Season 2): 26 December
Australian comedy-drama show Bump was produced by Claudia Karvan and Kelsey Munro and centered on Oly Davis-Chalmers (Nathalie Morris), a driven and successful high school senior who had an unexpected baby with her boyfriend, Santi Hernandez (Carlos Sanson Jnr). While Oly and Santi get to know each other better, they also learn how much families can mess you up since the Chalmers-Davis and Hernadez families are the gifts that keep on giving when it potentially comes to their unique brand of insanity.
3. Christmas on the Farm 1 December
Christmas on the Farm is going to release on 1 December. It’s a romantic comedy about a New York celebrity who pretends to be an Australian to get her book published, only to have to flee to the farm where her mother once lived when the publisher and her son arrive to meet the author (whom they think is an American).
4. Landscrapers 8 December
When two deaths are found in the backyard of an English home, the regular British couple who lived there suddenly become the center of a bizarre inquiry. The four-part limited series is based on true events and was developed by Ed Sinclair and written by Will Sharpe, who also directed the project.
5. Station 11: 18 December
Based on Emily St. John Mandel’s 2014 novel Patrick Somerville’s Station Eleven is a four-part American post-apocalyptic dystopian fiction miniseries. The miniseries were premiering on HBO Max on 16 December 2021 and lasted for ten episodes till 13 January 2022. Station Eleven, adapted from Emily St. John Mandel’s novel, follows the people of a post-pandemic Earth working to establish a new culture, civilization, and sense of self.
6. Zoey’s Extraordinary: 2 December
Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’s original cast will reunite for a Christmastime performance in Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas. Season two of Zoey’s adventures through the worlds of work, family, and love are continued in this new film.
7. MacGruber: 15 December
The 2010 American action comedy film MacGruber was inspired by the same-named Saturday Night Live skit, a send-up of the action-adventure series MacGyver. Starring Will Forte as the title character and Kristen Wiig as Vicki St. James, the film was directed by Jorma Taccone of the comic group The Lonely Island.
8. In The Blood: 27 December
Former fighter Gina Carano stars in In the Blood, her second leading role after Haywire (2011), directed by John Stockwell and released in the United States in 2014. Newlywed Ava (played by a 26-year-old) is the story’s protagonist; her husband is kidnapped while the couple is on their honeymoon in the Caribbean.
9. Maisie Knew: 28 December
The One Thing, Only Maisie Knew The 2012 drama film What Maisie Knew was written by Carroll Cartwright and Nancy Doyne and directed by Scott McGehee and David Siegel. It’s a new take on Henry James’s 1897 classic What Maisie Knew, and it stars Julianne Moore, Alexander Skarsgard, Onata Aprile, Joanna Vanderham, and Steve Coogan. Maisie, a six-year-old girl, is at the center of a custody dispute in the film between her absentee parents and their new partners.
10. Gringo : 29 December
Nash Edgerton helmed and co-wrote the crime comedy Gringo with Anthony Tambakis and Matthew Stone for release in 2018. The film depicts a mild-mannered businessman dispatched to Mexico to distribute an experimental marijuana drug. It stars David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Thandiwe Newton, and Sharlto Copley. After being taken hostage by a criminal gang, he and a mercenary must make their way to freedom.
