Who is Surf Mesa: Powell Aguirre is more popularly known as Surf Mesa. He gained fame in the music industry for his TikTok-popular single “ILY (I Love You Baby)” (2019), which sampled Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” (1967). “Be Kind” by Marshmello and Halsey featured an official remix by Aguirre in June 2020.
