Who is Taio Cruz: English singer, songwriter and record producer Jacob Taio Cruz was born Adetayo Ayowale Onile-Ere. He wrote, arranged and produced his debut album Departure. He was nominated for a Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBO) award for the album, which was certified gold in the United Kingdom. “Break Your Heart” and “Dynamite” are among Cruz’s number-one singles from his follow-up album Rokstarr, which was released in October 2009.
