3. Santos Tour Down Under
The Santos Tour Down Under that started in 1999 is the southern hemisphere’s biggest cycling race. It is a major event as it is the start of the UCI World Tour 2020. The best riders and cycling teams in the worlds gather in Adelaide. Every year in January professional cycling teams race on streets of regional South Australia and Adelaide. The cream of the crop of female and male racers along with thousands of spectators and event participant gather at the largest cycling festival. 4. Australian Open
From 20 January to 2nd February 2020 you should head to Olympic Boulevard in Melbourne! It is time for the thrilling Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2020. See the best tennis players in the world during two adrenalin-charged weeks. Every year gets better than the previous with more family-friendly entertainment and events, food and entertainment.

5. ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020
For the first time ever, Australia has been selected to host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. Five of the matches will be held in Canberra and the Manuka Oval will host the event of the best women’s teams in the world. Wednesday 26 February 2020 is the opening match and Australia who is the defending champions will be under the spotlight in Thursday 27 February. 7. 2020 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix

8. Sydney Royal Easter Show
At the Sydney Showgrounds at Sydney Olympic Park, the country gathers for the spectacular twelve-day Easter celebration. 9. Byron Bay Bluesfest
From the ninth to the thirteenth of April 2020 will be an excellent line-up of top artists and bands. The 2020 band and artist line-up include Crowded House, Patti Smith and her Band, Dave Matthews Band, The Cat Empire, Xavier Rudd, Brandi Carlile, Frank Turner, Jenny Lewis, the Marcus King Band and many more. It is an annual Blues and Roots Festival over the Easter weekend with. The location is just north of Byron Bay at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm. The Byron Bay Bluesfest 2020 is the 31st festival for 2020.

10. Uluru Camel Cup 2020
It’s probably the only place in the world where you can watch a camel race and not just any race, but the annual Uluru Camel Cup. While it is one of the amazing events in Australia, it is also one of the most underrated events and festivals. It is a raucous weekend of great humour and fun, parties, activities and above all camel racing. The Uluru Camel cup is in its eight-year in 2020 and an event that should be on all Aussie’s travellers list. The last weekend in May 2020 it is the prime Outback Event.
