Location
The Wineglass Bay is situated on Freycinet Peninsula, near Hobart, Tasmania in Australia.
History
The whole Freycinet Peninsula was inhabited by the Tasmanian Aborigines’ Oyester Bay Tribe for about twenty thousand years.

Due to its breathtakingly gorgeous views, the Wineglass Bay has gained a place in the list of the ten best beaches in the world. The views are spectacular. The white sand and the sapphire colored water looks unbelievably beautiful.
Sitting just beneath the Hazards Mountain range, the beach gets a beautiful backdrop of grey granite peaks. Having a look at this splendid view, one wouldn’t agree more with the fact that this beach is indeed one of the most gorgeous beaches.
The ariel view of this bay is unbelievable. The vast spread sapphire sea and the white forming a crescent at the shore, this view is something that you will always cherish the rest of your life.

Take the Wineglass Cruise to explore the beauty of this bay. The four hour cruise will take you across the shores of the Coles Bay and the Wineglass Bay.
Fishing in this region is an amazing experience. Whether you catch a fish or not, you will have a fulfilling experience. Whales and dolphins are spotted in this area during the winter season.
Adventure lovers can go for sea kayaking, surfing and windsurfing, 4WD, mountain biking, rock climbing at the cliffs and bushwalking.
Dive into the sea and get up close and personal with the marine life.
