Pierces creek is formerly a forestry settlement. The ACT agreed to redevelop this rural settlement in 2003. In 1991, a bushfire destroyed $1.5 million worth of pine trees in Pierces creek. Twelve of the original 13 homes in the settlement were destroyed during the 2003 bushfires. If you love having a peaceful but enjoyable time, Pierces Creek should be at the top of your bucket list!

A must-visit place in Canberra. Marvelous views of the cotter dam, followed by a bridge for the lookout. You can have beautiful walks up the cotter river and the green shady park.
