Early Start
- At the age of 14–15, Rosenberg began writing songs and learning classical guitar.
- He spent the next few years busking in England and Australia after leaving school at the age of 16 to pursue a career in music.
- As a 16-year-old, Rosenberg gave his first performance.
- During the Free Burma Campaign benefit gig at the Royal Court in London in 2002, Rosenberg was introduced to Jamie Catto by his father, a film production worker.
Career Journey
- 2003: The Mike Rosenberg Band was formed with Marcus O’Dair on bass, Alon Cohen on drums, and Richard Brinklow on keyboards.
- 2007: Wicked Man’s Rest, a five-piece band’s only album, was released
- 2015: As part of his set at the Teenage Cancer Trust charity concert in London, Rosenberg debuted “Whispers”, the title track from his new album.
- 2015: His seventh album, Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea, was announced with the release of the music video for “Somebody’s Love.”
- 2018: Passenger released the song “Hell or High Water”. In addition to announcing his ninth studio album, Runaway, he released an acoustic version of the song “Hell or High Water” recorded in Venice, Los Angeles
- 2019: Restless Wind by Passenger is released on YouTube. The band released two more songs a month after their debut, “Helplessly Lost” and “Paper Cut, Chinese Burn,” as well as a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.”
- 2010: Passenger released his ninth album Patchwork. In July of this year, Passenger released his twelfth album London In The Spring.
- 2021: Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted were released.
- 2022: The release of his 14th studio album, Birds That Flew and Ships That Sailed happened in this year.
