Early Start
- Originally from Stockholm, Lindblad is of Swedish and Italian descent.
- When he was 16, he became interested in Electronic Dance Music, but he started playing piano at the age of 7.
- 2010 was the year he gained recognition with the release of his Alesso EP.
- With the help of Ingrosso, he began DJing and producing tracks.
- Ingrosso has acted as a mentor to Alesso since then, referring to the elder Swede as his “big brother.”
Career Journey
- 2011: His track entitled “Calling” ranked second on the Beatport charts.
- 2012: Alesso launched another original mix called “Years” housing Matthew Koma that performed well in the United Kingdom. During this time, he was 20th on the list of the top 100 DJs of 2012 by DJ Magazine.
- 2014: Alesso inked a recording label with Def Jam Recordings, becoming only the second EDM producer to sign with the label (after Afrojack). “Tear the Roof Up”, which was named a “Future Exclusive” by Zane Lowe, was debuted together with the single “Heroes (We Could Be)”.
- 2016: His version of “I Wanna Know” featuring Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai came out officially.
- 2017: Hailee Steinfeld released her song “Let Me Go” in collaboration with Alesso, Watt, and Florida Georgia Line.
- 2018: “Tilted Towers” was the title of Alesso’s final single release of 2018, made in collaboration with video game streamer Ninja.
- 2019: Alesso performed at the Indy 500 Snake Pit, together with Skrillex, Illenium, and Chris Lake.

- Sebastian Ingrosso who was a member of Swedish House Mafia is the known mentor of Alesso. He called him “big brother”
- At age 7 was when he started playing pian but at the age of 16 was when he got himself hooked by Electronic Dance Music.
- His mother was Italian. His father did some DJ-ing before.
