With their new album Hellbound, multi-Platinum selling rockers BUCKCHERRY make their way back to Australia. With a song ready to go off live on stage and to brim with riotous energy, sensual swagger, and primal chops intact, BUCKCHERRY steadfastly defends the rules of rock music. The lads have always done it, but it’s more important now. BUCKCHERRY is prepared to party in Australia once more with a collection of timeless songs, including “Lit Up,” “Crazy Bit*h,” “Sorry,” “Say F*ck It,” and “All Night Long.”
In 2022, there is no doubt that you will be able to watch Buckcherry. With performances now scheduled until the end of the year and very few pauses in the schedule, the group will maintain its reputation as one of the hardest touring bands in the country. A spring excursion with Blacktop Mojo and Sumo Cyco that will begin later this month and last throughout the bulk of May had previously been announced by the group. It follows a productive run with Alice Cooper. They now have substantial bookings in the United States until mid-September.
Biography
American rock group Buckcherry was founded in 1995 and is based in Anaheim, California. Before breaking up in 2002, the group released Buckcherry (1999) and Time Bomb (2001) albums. The first album released by DreamWorks, Buckcherry, received a gold record. Lead singer Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson resurrected Buckcherry in 2005, assembling a new band that would go on to record the album 15 in 2006. It featured “Crazy Bitch,” one of Buckcherry’s biggest crossover songs to date, and “Sorry,” the band’s debut top ten Billboard Hot 100 smash. The band continued to make albums.
The group in 2008 and 2019 released five albums: Black Butterfly 2008 and Warpaint in 2019. On June 25, 2021, they released Hellbound, their ninth and latest album. Hellbound, their ninth album, will be released on June 25, 2021, through Earache Records and Round Hill Records. According to Buckcherry guitarist Stevie D, Marti Frederiksen is “like the sixth member of Aerosmith” and has previously worked with Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Jonny Lang, and Sheryl Crow. Hellbound is being sold on a variety of collectible vinyl, including pink, yellow, and orange, via Earache Records.
