Shoaib Akhtar
Shoaib Akhtar is a former Pakistani cricketer and a left-arm fast bowler. He holds numerous records such as the greatest number of wickets by a Pakistani bowler in ODIs and fastest bowler ever to cross 100 wickets mark in ODIs.
Shoaib Akhtar has been banned for using drugs; however, he has denied this claim multiple times saying that it was his medication which led him into trouble. He had taken medicines for his knee injury which resulted in beating his previous record for fastest ball speed at 161 km/h (100 mph) on December 27th 2003 against South Africa at Newlands Stadium, Cape Town.
Shahid Afridi
Shahid Afridi is a Pakistani cricketer and former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Twenty20 players of all time, having scored over 5,000 runs in T20I cricket.
In addition to his success in international matches, Afridi has been involved in philanthropic activities for most of his career. His foundation sponsors leprosy patients in Pakistan and India, and provides relief aid after natural disasters.
Wasim Akram

Fazal Mahmood
You may not know the name Fazal Mahmood, but you’ve definitely seen his face. He was one of Pakistan’s greatest bowlers and a member of their 1951-52 tour of England. During this time, he took 25 wickets across seven Tests, including a career-best 6/24 against Lancashire in 1952.
In addition to his bowling abilities, Fazal was also known for smoking during matches—a habit that wasn’t unusual at the time. Some sports historians have even speculated that his smoking contributed to his death at age 37 from liver failure; others believe it had no effect at all on his health.
Danish Kaneria
Danish Kaneria played for Pakistan from 2003-2010. He was a leg spinner and played in the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders, who won the tournament in 2012. In 2012, he was arrested for spot fixing along with two other cricketers during Pakistan’s tour of England.
He has admitted to spot fixing but denied any involvement in match-fixing. He was banned for life by the ECB in 2012 and by BCCI in 2014 after pleading guilty to spot fixing at a tribunal hearing.
