Today, there are various ways available in the market to help people stop smoking. Most of these methods focus on using chemical compounds to replace the nicotine demand of your body. However, there is another more interesting way which could help you stop smoking once and for all – hypnosis. Hypnotherapy has been used to treat various conditions such as anxiety, panic attacks, stress, insomnia, depression and it is not at all surprising that hypnotherapy could also cure smoking habit. Do not misunderstand the concept of hypnosis as a technique that could force you to stop smoking. Most of the time, the smoker would need to have a positive mind set and the will to stop the habit. One will need to start by imagining the

benefits of a non-smoker, imagining the scene of refusing a cigarette

and etc. When such images are set in the mind, hypnotherapy would be easier and more effective. It is not a technique of mind control. If a smoker is hypnotized while having the idea of not stopping the smoking habit, most of the time, they will become more definite during hypnosis!
