Who are DNCE: Lead singer Joe Jonas, drummer Jack Lawless, and guitarist JinJoo Lee formed American dance-rock band, DNCE. Bassist and keyboardist Cole Whittle was part of the group when it began. The band rose to prominence when they released in 2015 their internationally acclaimed song, “Cake by the Ocean” which peaked to US Billboard Hot 100 Top 9 spot. Favorite New Artist for the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards and Best Song to Lip Sync and Best Anthem for the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards nominations were given to the band for their EP, People to People.
