Things You Must Do If The World Ends Right Now
Imagine you wake up one morning, a month from now. It’s Sunday, no work, no responsibilities, you can relax all day long. You brew your first cup of coffee and turn on the TV. But then your jaw drops and you spill your coffee all over your pyjamas.
BREAKING NEWS – says the TV – The apocalypse has started! More than half a planet is infected with a deadly virus, and there is no cure!

What do you do? Well, you panic, of course. You go out into the streets and see people running around, screaming, looting. There’s chaos everywhere. You got nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, not enough supplies, and nothing to defend yourself or your home with. Simply put – game over for you.

So, now let’s take you back one month.
You wake up. It’s Sunday, blah, blah. But instead of chillin’ on the sofa watching Netflix, you start browsing the Internet for essential supplies, preferably canned foods and water or a water filter, also batteries, lighters, a power generator, gasoline, and medical supplies since we are talking about a virus apocalypse. Then your search for self-defence weapons, home protection, maybe even some books on survival to educate yourself better while there’s still time. And, Oh my God, we nearly forgot the most important thing of them all – toilet paper! You buy them as much as you can, you stock up, spare no expense. Remember – it’s life or death. Also, start working out daily – I’m pretty sure you’ll need a lot of strength to survive an apocalypse. And don’t forget you only have a month before it’s too late. After that, it’s survival, or it’s game over.
Lastly, you should consider getting a dog, you know, to keep you safe, to have someone to talk to and not go completely insane. Like that german Shepard Will Smith had in “I am Legend”. That was epic.
Anyway, good luck! And be sure to read our next article about what happens next in a post-apocalyptic world.

Fun Fact
At which point the world ends?
The most probable fate of the planet is absorption by the Sun in about 7.5 billion years, after the star has entered the red giant phase and expanded beyond the planet’s current orbit. Scientists say that the atmosphere ends at the Kármán line, 100 km (62 miles) above sea level. That’s where sky is said to become space, which is what people mean when they talk about ‘the edge of space’.
