Summary of The Paleo Manifesto: Ancient Wisdom for Lifelong Health What do I like the most? It is an excellent book for all to read and decide as for themselves the content. The book is divided into three parts. The parts may appear distinct but are related. Part-one discusses the various stages from primates and Paleo man to the present age. The author throws light in a historical perspective of the multiple functions like eating, sleeping, moving, and living. The author describes the lifestyles of the hunter-gatherers, herder-farmers. These hunter-gatherers and herder farmers influence our present-day agricultural society. Part two: In this part, the author throws light on the basic tenets of a Paleo Lifestyle. The diet and exercise recommendations, the sleep and sun exposure: The description is made to inspire the modern man to know and understand and develop biking for nature's original design. Though the author recommends nothing about diet plans, he advises the reader to plan one's daily health activities according to personal needs. Hence this is not a diet book. The author aims to make awareness among people to learn from the generalizations already made in the book. Part three: The author shows love for an ancestrally inspired lifestyle. The author gives descriptions and experiences of hunting to have arranged food for himself. He criticizes vegetarianism and its noble intentions but does not touch upon the various environmental issues. The author seems to invite controversy in this part of the book. The author has respect for vegetarians but is not satisfied with their logic. The book is written in a narrative style. This book aims to create awareness and motivate people to adapt to holistic, habitual-based human health as designed by nature.
