Social media has recently been the platform of choice to make all sorts of political comments, whether direct or indirect. If you’re looking to shake your head in disbelief at how some of these comments are written, you’ve come to the right place! 1. I was born a female, but…
I was born a female, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to experience the privilege of living life as a man. I’m so glad I live in this day and age where people are finally beginning to understand that being a woman is not just about having a vagina and menstrual cycle. Gender is more complicated than what’s between your legs, and not all men have penises.
2. It’s people like you that are killing America
It’s people like you that are killing America. If we don’t take this country back, we’ll have much more to worry about than just climate change. It’s people like you that are killing America. I can only hope that your children suffer the same fate as yours and mine. It’s people like you that are destroying America, and it needs to stop now before it gets too late.

3. I just don’t understand why it’s so bad
It seems like many people are angry that the show is coming back. There has been a lot of hate on social media, and some people don’t want to watch it. I just don’t understand why it’s so bad. It’s not like there haven’t been any new episodes in 17 years, and everything is the same as before except for my favorite character, who died. All they did was update their clothes and technology.
Besides, they’ve also managed to do that with shows like Roseanne without offending anyone at all. The whole point of this reboot was to get older viewers back into the habit of watching TV during primetime. Instead of streaming content at home, playing video games, or doing whatever else we’re doing now. Because this is what our generation spends most of their time doing these days.

4. I didn’t know this was supposed to be offensive
I didn’t know this was supposed to be offensive. I am sorry if it offended you. Clearly, I have some learning to do, and I’m glad that you are here to help me learn what is ok and what isn’t.
I get that it’s hard for me because my privilege has shielded me from some of the harm your oppression has caused. Still, please tell me more about why this is offensive so that I can educate myself on the issue!
Thank you for educating me on this issue, my friend!
5. I wish they would use their power for good things
The internet has made it so that we are never too far from a funny, woke comment. With social media being used as the go-to platform for conversation, people feel more comfortable than ever before in sharing their opinions with the world. However, sometimes these thoughts can get lost in translation and end up making us laugh instead of inform.
And they sure did make us laugh. In fact, the entire “woke” culture makes us laugh – most of us in the world, trust me.
